Euro clear tailight Question

Euro clear tailight Question
I just recieved the kit and was looking over the instruction sheet, it says to cut a white wire, just curious as to why? and what does this white wire do that wont be doing anymore. And also i see it came w/orange bulbs, seems strange why orange color? and not clear ones. Any thoughts, Thanks, Rob

if you don't cut the wire the turn siganls AND the brakes lights will come on at the same time, so you will get a orange and red lil lightshow :D .
came with orange bulbs because clear lens with clear bulbs are illegal to use. :cheers:

Rob99,
Installed the same (amber though) lights in mine. Cutting the white wire separates the stop lights from the turn signals. Once you have your new tail lamps in your brake/tail lights willl be red and your turn/hazzard lights will be orange.

Thanks THRAP 42 & Intel 55, i understand now, and silly me thought the 'clear lens part' was going to be a 'backup' not turn signal, so i see that the orange bulb illuminating through the clear gives the amber effect. :chevy
