Default Gene Culley Monthly Upgrades

So, this month it was 08 Z51 sway bars, metal end links, 08 Z06 shocks, new front air dams, and passenger side EMC passenger insidef ender well. The install took about 4 hours (I wish I wasn't doing it alone) but everything turned out perfect. I have to take it on the interstate to see if it follows every rut in the road, but the car feels smoother and I didn't think it could corner better than it did, but I was wrong. Thanks again to Gene for getting the right parts shipped FAST!

I'm thinking of the Z06 sway bar kit from Gene! I really shouldn't be spending any more money on my Vette but every time I read one his specials threads I get weaker and weaker.

It doesn't help being that Gene really gives great service as well, so the purchase is super easy!!

It's impossible not to buy stuff from Gene isn't it? The service is great and the shipping is so fast it makes me wonder why almost no one else can get it right... That being said, I don't feel a real difference in the car. The shocks are great, but the car still follows every rut in the road, and it still corners like it is on rails, but the size difference in the sway bars was unreal, especially the front one. One note, after breaking 4 (yes 4) T-40's on the metal endlinks, I finally got smart and held the inside with an 18 mm while ratcheting the 18 mm nut. I have never read this on any of the links, and my god it would have saved me a lot of headache if I would have just looked at the damn things first! The car does ride smoother though, I guess 96K is enough for a set of shocks! Everything else I am just gonna assume that my tires are the weak point in getting any more performance or a better ride. 305/30/19's arent the best for ride comfort you know....

I bought tune up kit as well as metal end links, gene is no doubt a xellent person with xellent prices, and unbeatable service he provides.

For installing endlinks, i use T-40's but just be little tricky and u can tight it using T-40 hex, it took me a while to uninstall/install but i did it right, whatever way u choose, those sway bars and end links are not hard and can be done easily 4-6 hrs with no rush.
