Default HVAC electrical diagram

I fried my HVAC and was wondering if anyone actually has a wiring diagram for the HVAC. I've checked a decent amount of posts and there are people saying they have it so if someone does can you help me out? PLEASE!!!!

Thanks,
Franklin

Send me an e-mail with your e-mail address and I'll get it to you tomorrow. That way I don't have to upload it to a server.

Anyone know what this is that is circled. It's off the circuit board that plugs into the wiring harness of the car. I think I might have fried it. Thinking maybe a voltage regulator.

If it is, ST microelectronics makes one. The part # for the 7994 is LD1085c. You can buy one from Digikey for 2.73. It is on catalog page# 1010. You might want to make sure that circuit board trace is intact before you start chasing a replacement part. That trace looks bad and could be open under the white plastic plug. If you have to repair it, you can just solder a wire from each end and do it on the back side of the circuit board and drill through to cross sides of the board if necessary. Put the board in front of a light to make sure it's not a multi-layered board before you drill.

I checked the trace and it is good. That's the only piece I'm worried about. Thanks a bunch

What symptoms are you experiencing with the HVAC and why do you suspect that part?

Thanx...

Right now I'm not experiencing any problems, but I did have a short which is what blackened the trace. I just noticed that the trace goes thru the part so I was wondering what it was before I hook it up and start the car for fear that something might go bad.

Ok I am having an issue. The led lights stay lit the entire time. I turned the car off, went back 30 minutes later and the lights are still lit. I think I have an idea what that component does. Anyone else have any suggestions?

That happened to a unit I was installing LEDs in for a friend, one of the LEDs got shorted (happened during shipping) and caused some smoke and exactly what you are experiencing.... A new power board fixed it, but we already know the culprit is on it. Can you trace back from the lighting pins coming from the display board? Third and Sixth ones in from the Black wire I believe...

Ok, With those schematics I sent you, unplug the controller and meter the 2 main grounds. If you're missing a ground, it could be sourcing the ground through another path which could possibly cause your problem. One is black and the other is grey and black.

What do you mean about tracing back? There was a short, fixed it, tested the led's like you are saying, 3rd and 6th from black. What else can I test?

Also, make sure you only have 12v where you're supposed to.

I have posted this on a new thread but what I am trying to find fits perfect for this thread. I did the resolder fix to bring back my display but found only the display and led's are working all the lamps are dead. I found this blown and missing a big chunk of it and trying to find the part # for it:

If someone knows the part # or has a wiring diagram I would be very thankful my email is mvette67@hotmail.com.

Thank you,

Mike
