Has anyone permanently installed a CTEK Battery Charger in a C5?

If so, where did you mount it, connect it, run the plug, etc.?

 

They installed one on a Ron Fellows edition C6 on an episode not too long ago. They put it in the back in one of the bins in the corner, they drilled a hole through the tub and put cord through a weathertight grommet. The end (plug) was ran along to just above the liscense plate and could be tucked up by the reverse lights when not in use. I'm sure a very similiar install could be had on the C5 as the two cars are very similiar in design and construction- especially in that area.

 

I saw the C6 install, but it looked like the battery was in the rear? That was why I wondered if anyone had done a front install on a C5?

 

kind of pointless to me. clamp it on when you need it remove it when you do not. Either way you are going to be plugging a chord to it why bother bolting it down under your hood?
