Hey guys, call me crazy but i'm looking for some catback that is VERY quiet, like quieter than stock if possible. I know this is crazy but i want something to flow well but also be quiet if i can have my cake and eat it to. I'm probably doing electric cut outs when i really want to make some noise but just thought i would get your opinions about the subject. i may or may not be planning a H/C package that i want to go undetected....
The Z06 titanium exhaust is quiet until upper levels of rpms are pushed. It's much lighter in weight and won't rust. It would also be good for your future modifications.
I know this, that's why the increased noise from H/C i want to be offset by quiet mufflers to be "undetected" i.e. not everyone knows I have H/C. Second there has to be SOMETHING that flows better than stock mufflers yet is no louder like some exhaust with 3in piping and madrell bends that is equally as quiet. maybe the Ti is the way to go...

I don't think you realize our stock mufflers actually flow VERY well...I would suggest (as others already have) to purchase a Ti catback since it's lighter, more rumble at WOT, yet maintains the stock sound at idle and regular cruising. BTW if you ever go H/C it will sound LOUDER
You know the term QUIET and LOUD are very opinionated. To some bullets are too quiet. To a couple, the stock OEM muffler is too loud.
The only muffler/ CAT Back that I would recommend "which has already been recommended" is the OEM ZO6 Ti system. Once you Enlarge the pipe to 3", that automacicly says louder! So that plan is out!
Your looking for something that probably doesnt exist but,,,,,you will probably have to settle for the Ti muffler.
I have an inner desire to be the Class Clown, Mouth of the party and basically Look at me. My Vert is M Yellow, 120+ decible Kanye West Booming and yet I still want Moooooore.....
My Corsa Touring with Corsa X-Pipe seem quieter than my stock pipes were. Maybe a bit louder under hard acceleration, but not during normal acceleration.

You "WILL" find what you want out of a set of STOCK Z06 Titanium exhaust mufflers!
I am running then with 640 RWHP and 540 RWTQ and they are quiet along with my LT headers
You should be able to pick up a set for around $400 + shipping
go to home depot and buy some rolls of heating and AC duct insulation that is adhesive and install it under the carpet in back of car and then install some good flowing catbacks
listen to these guys...i got rid of my Ti's...wish i had them back....LT's and no cats Ti's are a no brainer....My GHLs do sound awesome but im tired of the noise...maybe it wouldnt be so bad it my car wasnt a daily driver

Magnaflows in my experience are the quietest best flowing mufflers. Get the Magnaflow tubes and some Magnaflow resinators. Both are straight through and will provide a quiet tone and great flow
