Default Taking apart LS2 T.B. ???

Has anyone taking apart or tried to take apart a LS2 throttle body?
I am getting some parts High Temp Thermal Coated and to do the throttle body I need to take it apart to remove the plastic wiring clip.
I know the 4 screws are non-tampering but I can get past that. Whats on the inside that I have to worry about? Anything flying apart or just the basics?

Any help will be appreciated
thanks,
Brian

Have you tried to take one of the bolts out yet? I was going to take one apart but could not find a tool to remove them. They are tamper proof, but they are five sided, not six sided like normal.

I have a buddy that works for Bentley and he thinks he has the tool to remove the screws. So he is going to take the T.B. today to work and hopefully be able to take it apart. fingers crossed.

The heads are almost common security bit but---5 point.
You may get the connector side cover off but once inside it is not prudent to go further because it is all soldered together.

You have to press the shaft out once the cover is off and then you run into the TPS sensor and potentiometer (can be unbolted -take care) and then the motor drive (bigger issue).

The motor "leads" are actually a solid copper stamping that is "soldered" to the motor - not easy to disassemble and once you do, make sure the re-connection is really solid and free of contamination.

So it sounds like a lot more work than just being able to take the screws out, and then pop that plug out in one piece. Maybe it will be easier just to get it painted to match then to worry about taking it apart and putting it back together right.
