Bill I appreciate you cantor But you must remember that we did not select the date, they were provided to us by the track. Everyone involved with the Cartek Corvette Challenge support the BG FORUM Event and wishes everyone good luck and a great time. I myself wish I were able to go but It is not due to the fact the Cartek Corvette Challenge is on the sameday that made the decision for me not to go to BG . Last year only 2 racers made all the races and I expect the same amount or less this year. Not everyone can make every race. I would not anticipating missing one Carteck Corvette Challenge be the factor for anyone not running the points series. To many things can happen race to race. like I said , look at Fred Vetter making the top 5 after only a few races.
THE BOTTOM LINE IS you must do whats right for you BUT i'm sure someone could WIN the series and not make every race.
I don't feel thats a valid reason, sorry john

I made all the races last year, I guess I am one of the two :) , and I ended up 13 in the points for the year, some of us need all the help we can get. John, you did ask for feedback, and that is what I gave

Have a few of the events at different tracks, spice it up some. There are lots of great tracks out there and gives a variety of people the chance to come without always having to drive 1000 miles one way every time, or driving 1000 miles but getting to see some of the country
We are still looking to have a race ar MIR but that only because of the great Impala racers. Most tracks we have approched have shown little interest in out sreies.
I hope that all changes someday.
John

I was a little bummed about a race on the weekend of the Cruise-In but I certainly understand Johns position on this.. I am sure it was difficult to get the 10 we got.. There is no way in hell that I am missing the cruise in.. I just will have to race a little harder the other 7 races.. :) :)

I was one of the two that made every event last year. I made a lot of sacrafices to do so and I guess I am just bummed that that will not be possible this year.
