Default timming pulls under boost !!!wtf

Hi, New to the site .Hopeing you guys can help. I have a 2001 Z06 that i put a HP twin turbo setup on. When the car makes boost the timming gets pulled like 20 degrees or more. There is no dettination or pinging, engine is running fine. I put new knock sensors and 02 sensors with no change. we desensitized the knock sensors and the car runs grate and makes about 510hp, but afraid to tune the car for max hp( about 640 or so) on the current set up with this ishue. Dos anyone have an idea whats up? I have put about 600 miles on it with no ishues but scared to bring the power up.

p.s. the gas is 93 and fresh .42 pund injectors.6-7psi boost.useing hp tunners on a dyno

I had the same problem...false knock on the dyno..could have been a lot of things...noise from the supercharger..etc. The tuner cut down the sensitivity of the knock sensors, and problem went away. If I was auto-xing the car, or if it was a dedicated drag car, I would be interested in investigating where the noise is coming from..but it takes time, and trials with isolation. Even at a reduced sensitivity, if a serious knock event happens, it will still pull timing.

Take a look at your burst knock tables. It is used to predict knock. When the PCM detects large airflow changes it will pull timing to prevent knock. FI is throwing it off. I think that only accounts for 4 degrees. Take a look at your IAT spark correction table as well. I believe you can be pulling up to 8 degrees there.
