Default DTE and Pfadt Brace questions.

Hey guys (and gals?) I have a auto 2002 C5 i do a little weekend stuff at the dragstrip and was looking at buying some cheap insurance for the rear end. First what are the main differences between the DTE unit and the Pfadt unit? can they work together and if so is there ANY advantage of using BOTH of them? It looks like the DTE unit can be a pain in the *** to install where as the pfadt unit doesn't look as bad. if you prefer one over the other please share why? the car is mostly stock right now however i plan on throwing some drag radials and a stall at the car (i know autos don't normally need beefing up the rear end but with the stall and sticky tire that might be another story) and later putting some bolt on mods (heads bolt on right ) as well as a cam in it. this is all a winter project so just trying to gather some info. THANKS!

The DTE strengthens the tranny/diff joint. The Pfadt appears to stabilize the drive train from shake.

.... Someone from DTE posted in an earlier thread about using them together. He pretty much confirmed the above description and said they would work together well.

Good Luck...

The are two different products that do two different things. I have both and they do work together in some aspects. Vibration is totally absent and wheel hop is non existent!

Vibration? Question I have for you, I get a little "Chatter" on occasion which I have thought to be the clutch, would this be a good description of what it eliminates?

Since I upped the HP and had to drop the rear and the tranny for a clutch and gears, I picked one up for $300.00 and had ECS. I picked up parts throughout the year, and have them installed over the winter.

DTE supports the rear, but that's all I have.
