What the heck is it. I know it translates to the MAF performance. But what does that mean. I'm in Houston Tx and I need a tuner here local that can check it out. I love my tuner "Moe Bailey" but he lives kinda far from me.
Maximum Delta Airflow - P0101 Error: The VCM will constantly check the MAF operation by comparing the MAF calculated airflow against the calculated airflow using speed/density calculations. If the difference exceeds the threshold value at a particular speed/density calcuated airflow then P0101 will be set.
This is from HPTuners.
You can have someone change the Delta values, tune your VE table so that it is more in line with the MAF, or turn the code off.
Yeah, I have the blackwing cold air finter. Stock air bridge and stock mass air meter, with no screens.
Put the screen back on the MAF. The tables in the pcm are tuned with the screen in place. Removing it causes too much air turbulence. Putting the screen back on should cure the problem.
Well the car has been built, tuned and running great for more then two years with no running problems and the P0101 only popping up sparaticly. Now it stays on, and sometimes when I floor it, it sounds almost like I'm out of fuel. Maybe the Mass Air Meter took a dump. It's a stock meter on a NOT SO STOCK Vette.

Ok, I was just out pulling the airbridge off to check the meter. The meter physically looks fine, but when I sprayed the meter down with carb cleaner then sprayed the inside of the airbridge down to clean it I noticed that carb cleaner was ripping out from where the two pieces of the airbridge clips together. Thats a pretty janky connection GM made for the airbridge. Its like a band clamp thats squeezed tight with a special tool and thats it. Anybody got a fix for this, or ever dealt with it...?
Have no dealt with that, but seems like a worm gear clamp would be a good replacement. May need to clear an area for the rubber nubs that protrude from the tube.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
