The rear window (glass) has separated from the cloth top. Top is 6 years old and perfect condition but the glass has come loose at the top part where the glass was bonded/sealed to the top. Is there an adhesive or sealing kid that anyone knows of. Chevy wants to replace entire top for $1,500 and there's got to be a lesser expensive fix. Contact Ron at Ronfjd@msn.com or call (817) 478-4753. Thanks in advance.
you need a new top, the glass is thermedicly attached with a factory machine, there is no repair. Shop around , I got a new robbins top installed for $1200.00 in cali.
I just used the Rhino Glue 2 weeks ago and it worked great. How long it holds will only tell, but I was vry happy with the out come. My only advice is don't wipe the excess glue off the window until it dries. Once it dries scrap it off the window with a razor. It looks like it wasn't glued. I see so many of them that were glued will a silcone or something and it looks bad. The Rhino glue worked great.
Rear window of my 02 Vert detached from both sides & bottom with only top part still attached. Used Rhino Glue per instructions in previous post 6 months ago. Still good. Don't waste $ on new top for this. It is repairable
