Been there! If it only happens during G Force situations, the very first place that I would check would be the door wiring harnesses. There's a rubber accordion tube between each door. Pop out that rubber tube from the door and door frame, extract the two sets of connectors from the door frame and examine them. Disconnect both and examine the pins for damage corrosion etc... Also look at the wires and look for pulled back insulation. If you find any, use something like liquid electrical tape to insulate the bare wires.
The bare wires will look like this:
This is a very common problem on a LOT of C5's. Its been known to cause this issue of similar issues.
Will check these, thanks alot. No codes, when this issue happens the gauges all go back to normal and the chevrolet name appears as if the car had just been started. all happens in just few seconds.
With that added info, it sounds like your losing power for fraction of a second. There are a couple of areas to check for that. First place to check are the battery cables. See if you can move them by hand. They should NOT move. Even if their not loose, I would remove them, clean them and retorque them to the specified 11 ft,lbs.
The next area that can cause the car to do that is the ignition switch. Do you have a lot of weight on the key ring??? Heavy weight is not good on a C5 ignition switch. The switch also get worn and the contacts inside get burned and pitted. If the switch is suspect,,,there is an easy FREE fix. I detailed an Ignition Switch rebuild post a while back that you can use to fix your switch:
bringing the car in tommorrow for a ignition switch recall, hopefully solves the problem. All other areas per your reply are ok. car only has 11000 mile on it.
