Default bad slave need help

I have a 97 C5 with the mm6. A few months back I noticed that it wouldnt let me go into reverse and my clutch pedal was lower than normal. So I topped of the master fluid and pumped the clutch and everything was back to normal. Periodicly I would add a little fluid when nessessary. Then about a week ago it took a crap completely. I added fluid and it didnt matter. So i replaced the clutch master and bled it. I still have the same problem. I talked with my brother who is a master tech and wrenches on bmw's and we both came to the conclusion that it probablly was the slave. So I have removed the intermediate exhaust and the belly pan and now I think I have to unbolt the struts from the lower a arms in the rear and then the torque tube to gain access? This is where I get lost. I have the factory repair manuel and I am having trouble finding out how to do this correctly. Will the torque tube just drop down or do I have to drop the rear transaxel ect? The clutch t.o. bearing flywheel pressure plate was replaced 11k ago so I was going to leave it. I was looking to upgrade to a C6 Zo6 clutch assembly but this car is my daily driver except for the few times a year I auto x so I dont think I need it. So if any body out there could help me out with some advise and prefibly a pic and or video I would greatly appriciate it and if It will help me out to the point where I could do this you get my eternal greatfullness Thanks and have a great day

It wasnt that bad there were a few times I was was getting pissed, just take your time I used a ATV jack for the rear and tranny, Also when putting it all back together I found it easier to remove the torque tube from the tranny and install it by itself first.... and dont forget to get a remote bleeder. After it was all done took me like 5 min to bleed the clutch. One more thing when you lower the drivetrain just go slow and watch everything Youill be fine any questions just IM me, If I was closer Id come by and give you a hand.
