I just had my car lowered yesterday and the toe was the main thing that had to be adjusted. I'm sure an alignment is not absolutely necessary but its cheap insurance for me when I drop $1400 for tires.

When I lowered mine on the stock bolts I went ahead and got a 4-wheel alignment just in case. $65 is lot better then premature wearing of $1000 tires. I do that enough spinning the tires. I went ahead and had some custome alignment specs done since it was being done, nice compromise between stock and Z06. :D
