Default Clutch question Drill mod

I'm installing my ls7 clutch in my 00frc and was wondering should i do the drill mod on the new 04z slave?? I had seen somewhere that the new c6s dint have the restriction in the line? Is there any dis-advantage to doing the drill mod?

From what I have been told including by the guys who own Textralia, it doesn't do any good. I didn't bother when I did mine.

Never had the sticking clutch syndrome but i was thinking now having the ls7 clutch ,and if the c6 doesnt have the restriction in the line then i should follow that lead

There are some online tutorials that state to drill the master cylinder, and then others to drill the slave cylinder.

What I found out, when I replaced my clutch assy, was that the master cylinder did not have the restrictor, it was 1/8" in diameter. The slave cylinder was something like 5/64", much smaller that the master cylinder.

I also did mine, just go slow and keep the drill straight
