i have a 99 while it is in the garage idling the power steering works great after u get to say 30 mph and above its like driving a truck any advice will be helpful thanks george ghammack@charter.net
Have you checked your codes? Corvettes are equipped with variable steering effort. It is very easy to steer at low speeds. At cruising speeds, it is as if there is no power, this is for better feel. In racing situations, it will actually add resistance to the steering, this is to help reduce oversteer caused by jerking the wheel to fast. It sounds to me like you may have a problem with this system.
