SWPS installed but locks up. .

SWPS installed but locks up. .
installed the SWPS today but now when I turn the wheel it goes into active handling. if I turn it off it is fine. the only thing i can think is i left the centering pin on the new sensor. could that be my problem?? Help

I replaced mine yesterday. There was a black end cap on mine that went on after the SWPS. You would not be able to snap that on if the centering pin was not removed. Did yours have the black cap?
The title states that it "locks up". Can you explain this?

thanks. . after the install all is well except when I turn the wheel driving down the road. the DCI shows active handling and you feel it kicking in. it is fine heading down the road. any turn and it kicks in. if i turn it off it is fine. what gives
