I believe that the ls1 /ls2 ls7 are all one in the same actual part
I'm doing a h/c/i swap that requires 7.4 push rods for stock spec'd heads, which I have. Going with the YT's, I figured I might as well upgrade the lifters too. I know I'll have to check roller swipe pattern on the valve and shim as needed per YT....
LS7 lifters are now the "stock replacements" for all LS1/2/6/7 applications. Preload of .080-.100" is good.
No heads/cam package in existence "requires" a specific length pushrod, as there's just way too many variables involved, and shimming your YT's will most certainly and dramatically change the correct PR length needed.
Worry about the pushrods last...assemble heads/cam, dial in the rockers, then measure for proper PR length, and buy the exact length you need.
