Try to hear them in person to make sure you know what you want for your car.

The corsa touring or pace car's wont be deep sounding, the borlas will.

Also depends how loud you want that deep rumble to be.

B&B rt66 are quiet but have some rumble
Corsa extremes will rumble a bit louder

Here are Borla Stingers from inside the car.

I put Borla Stingers on a stock 6-speed 2001 system and they sounded great. Later I upgraded my stock system to American Racing headers, Xpipe, and Hi Flow cats, then reinstalled the Borlas. The drone was unbearable. I ended up replacing the Borlas with GHL Motorsports, no more drone and sounding great again.

If you plan to keep your stock system the Borlas will be fine, in fact I sold mine to a fellow club member with a 2002 automatic stock system and they sound great on his car.

If you plan on adding headers in the future (American Racing in particular), you may want to rethink the Borlas and start right out with something like the GHL's.

I too went thru this agony of trying to decide what system to purchase, like the others have said try and find a system to listen to. Maybe going to a local car show etc. personally I had a friend who had the Borla system and it was great sounding...until we got inside and went for a ride around town. It wasn't that great after all. Sitting inside the sound was too much. I decided on and purchased the Corsa Pace Car system and have never been sorry about my choice. Looks great, sounds great and its price was fair.

An exhaust system is a LOT like buying beer. There all beer but some like XXX beer but hate Y brand.

When selecting an exhaust system, you really need to try it out PERSONALLY before you plop down cold hard cash. Fine another forum member with a system. Go for a ride in the car.

Something that comes with swapping out exhaust systems is INTERIOR CABIN DRONE. No matter how loud or deep sounding the system is,,DRONE is a nasty by product that can make driving your car MISERABLE! Some systems have NONE and some have a LOT!! Find a system that sounds the way you want it to but has tolerable drone. Your ears and wallet will thank you.

I personally have a complete Stainless Works 3" system (headers to tips) and it has very little drone and nice sound. I added heads , cam and a FAST 90/90 and it significantly changed the exhaust system manners. Its still very tolerable but has a little more drone than it did prior to the MODs. Cam and heads make a difference in the way an exhaust system sounds.

Stainless Works System with Ramdom Tech Cats:

I recently experienced a GHL system that is VERY INTERESTING!

Let your ears drive your purchase and dont let other people talk you into something you will have to sell shortly after you purchase it.

The man speaks the truth.

Borlas are great when the exhaust system is STOCK.

If you're going to add a header system, I'd go with Corsa or some modded Z06 Ti's.
