When should I start the car in winter once a week, every two weeks, or once a month?
Don't start the engine at all during the winter..............unless you are going to take the care out and drivie it long enough to fully warm the engine oil and burn off any condensation in the crankcase.........better to just let her sit, a hook up a batter tender until you take her out in the spring.

Don't start it at all during winter? I planned on starting it, letting it sit and idle in the garage until it got up to temperature about once a month. Also should I keep a full tank of gas or a nearly empty tank, I'm in Louisville KY and we'll get below freezing temps in the winter

I have always kept the gas tanks full in my cars when they sit for prolonged periods in the winter. You will get less moisture in the tank that way. Also, driving the car as weather allows periodically is the best way to keep everything working properly. There's always a few days even in the Northeast when the roads are clear and dry. Never used Stabil. I don't consider 3 or 4 months to be long term storage. If you can drive it enough to top off the gas a couple of times a winter you don't need Stabil.

I use sea foam especially during the winter in all my vehicles. When the vett sits for long periods of time in the winter, I believe it helps keep the water out of the system and cleans the systems. The vett sits much of the winter but I do try and let it run every couple of weeks for at least 10 to 15 min, and if it's a good day, we take it for a long ride.
