Default Wiper problem

The wipers on my '02 have been turning on by themselves. I have been able to get them to stop by using the washers & then they would turn off. Today, however I had to pull the fuse to get them to stop. Any help would be appreciated.

The wiper motor control module is on the bottom of the motor and sits in a well. The well has THREE drains that frequently get clogged. If it gets clogged, the wipers can and do flip out.

Heres where the udders are that get clogged:

You can reach them here:

Here is what came out of mine!

Clean those udders and hopefully the controller will dry out and reurn to normal.

I had the same issue. Even after I cleaned the udders the problem was still there. Good luck with yours. I had to replace the motor. If you do this yourself, be extra careful when pulling the wiper arms off. Also, make sure the cam on top of the motor is in the right position.

I agree with what the others have said, my buddy had the same problem and the circuit board was wet.
