Interior ice?
What could cause the windshield of our cars (C5's) to ice up on the inside over the winter? The only thing I came up with was the need to replace the weather stripping.
Any other thoughts?

Dude,,,Ive been here and fixed this. YOU HAVE WATER in your interior! PERIOD!!!Please take my advice and find it. My 98 coupe had the same issue. I fixed mine quick but have seen lots of other cars have serious electrical issued because of this issue. Sooner or later the moisture will start to effect your BCM, radio and other C5 open circuit board modules.
First: Remove the seats and examine the under carpet jute padding. The water will usually collect in the area that is directlu under the seat. Unless you thurouly check that padding, you probably NOT going to find the moisture. Check both sides but you will most likely find the passenegrs side that is wet.
The next area to look for water is in the rear compartment wells. Check really good for water in the wells.
If their dry, the next time you have moisture on the inside of the windows, usually after a heavy rail or driving with the AC on when it is real humid out,, check in the areas that I spelled out above.
Heres a post that I cobbled together a while back that deals with leaks:

Ive seen cars with mildue on the seats shift boot, steering wheel etc..... and the cars STINK to the high heavens!!

Please let me know what you find and I will help you resolve the issue.
