OEM CD changer wiring

I was wondering if some one can help me ? I have a 98 C5 that has an in dash cd player I want to add the OEM changer which I have ordered. From some of the forums I have read there are should be 2 connectors on the passengers side by fuse panel however I can only one of them and that is the one with 4 wires in it. I can't find the other connector with three wires in it. Is it possible that there is only one ? I thought I read how to install with out the other connector but I can't find where I read it

From: Not on either liberal coast.

Look around carefully in the fuse panel area. The other wire in mine ('04) was pushed up and secured with a gray plastic fastener.

When I added a CD Changer to my 02 Z, the small connector was tapped to the other wire with a plastic tape and it was hard to find.

Here are some shots of that harness and the connectors with the carpet removed. The pic also shows chassis ground connector G- 202

here is where my "second" connector was located (underneath the carpet and taped like Bill mentioned):

Mine were stuck forward of the footwell to the right of the fuse panel. The smaller plug was pinned down and a pain to free up.
