Default Cam advice welcome!

I have a 98 mn6 with Dyna Tech headers and high flow cats. also have the Varram with a custom dyno tune. i have been running this for two years and im ready for a few more horses!
What im looking for is a small gain and a nice lope at idle. nothing extreme. What cam package do you guys reccommend?
Also im sure i will need to upgrade my intake and can i run my stock heads and still see some gains?
thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm no expert on the various cam grinds but I run A Comp 224/224 .581 @112 LSA on an A4 car. I will say that you don't have to upgrade your intake but it does help to have a true cold air intake such as Callaway honker, vararam etc. I run a vararam myself. You already have headers so you should see a pretty decent gain with most any selection. I would talk to a known tuner about selection based on what you want out of the car. Cams can have a major impact on how the car drives.

Most wish they went bigger. Spending 1-2K i would prefer not to do it very often.
