Are the c5 342 diff. the same as a c5 z06diff. ?and can you put c6 axel shafts in the c5 diff cause i hear that the c6 shafts are harden? and the c5 shafts are not i know cause i broke one on the pass. side .im all tore apart trying to see the best way to go .

Seriously, I think you mean "output shafts", not "axle shafts". You certainly want to buy a hardened output shaft for a C5. Since you have it torn down, replace both left and right. The output shafts are available from a number of vendors. I purchased a whole differential from RPM transmissions.
no clutch, stock one seems ok just fixen whats broken with stronger parts hardnen shaft c6 shafts are hardnen i think. who knows for sure is what im trying to find out

Nope, they're not. I've seen plenty of C6's snap output shafts out at Byron. I'm confused, why not just buy hardened output shafts that will work?
By the way, if you just fix what's broke, and don't change out the left output shaft, it will be the next to go....I'd change them both, and enjoy your days at the track !
