From what I read, it's tucked away under front of hood near windshield, so unless someone knows to look for it....

Absolutely worthless until the hoods jammed . Cost a couple of
bucks, easy install and I probably will never need it. Of course
if some how that one in a million time the hood wont open-------
you bought the insurance. The wires tuck down out of sight and
most folks couldn't find them. Good luck
