If it's just the blower motor replacement, then the answer is no. You'll need to remove the passenger side knee bolster under the glove box and access is fairly easy. There have been several posts on this in the past. Have you tried a search yet?
When my BM Module went it took out the 30 Amp fuse. Remove the bolster and and im not sure if I had to remove the glove compartment (don't think I did) but did remove the blower motor to test it out. 3 self tapping or machine screws as I remember. It was OK so I proceeded to the COSTLY module. (the resister version on the manual HVAC is only about $20 while the electronic one lists for over $100) I got the module at the GM Wholesaler for about $70 not at the stealership. The module is located at the extreme rear and I think right almost against the side of the body. There are 2 or 3 self tapping screws and the RIGHTMOST ONE is ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to get to. I got the other one or 2 out and luckily LOOSENED the rightmost one enough to slide the module out.
I think the rightmost screw hole was slotted. When replacing with the new module I slipped the rightmost slotted hole under the loosened screw and tightened the other one or two. Its been there now for about 4 years and hasn't budged. Don't remove the instrument panel unless you want to have a week long project replacing it. BIGHANK
