Both my key fobs on my 99 stopped working at the same time. I replaced the battery in one and tried to reprogram and it would do
nothing. I have no TPMs so I can't check the RFA that way. Should it post a BO-RFA code? There were some codes in the DIC posted for the TPMs and maybe more by I cleared them before wrote them down. How can I check the RFA or should I be looking somewhere else?

Hmmm, this sounds oddly familiar... I'll be watching this post, because mine seem to have stopped working also, and after reprogramming, don't work the next day.

I know the fobs themselves often go bad with age but both of mine went out the same day. Mabe you just need a new one if it works for a while and just won't hold. On mine the memory seat and other remote stuff are not working so I'm thinking it is the RF unless someone suggests something different. It looks like it will will be pita to get to.
Awhile back my battery went bad and caused all kinds of goofy stuff. I checked grounds and connectors, then I checked the battery under a load. The battery was at around
50%. It still started the car but wouldn't completly charge, causing voltage dips and spikes, which caused a bunch headaches. I replaced the battery and fixed the problem(s).

Good Luck,
JB.
I've been through the low battery experience before, all kinds of flakey stuff. My battery is fairly new, less than 6 months, but I think I will have it checked, can't hurt. I don't have any other electrical problems. Thanks, B\G
