Default Head & bore size relation?

What are the guidelines for matching heads to a 402 blocks/bore size.
If my block bore size is 4.0005 how big should the head size be -
Pistons are Diamond 14cc

I see different descriptions for AFR 225 heads - large bore / small bore?

I guess the Head combustion chamber size opening (and cc size) ?
to maintain compression ratio of around 10 (+ or - .5)
with S/C what would I need - 72cc -65cc -62cc etc?

Would something like this work?
AFR part # 1660 Small 3.910" Bore

Thank you

Contact Tony Mamo at AFR. He can best advise you on this. I have been working with him on my setup.

Lots of guys use 3.9" heads on larger bore, but you give up clearance to use larger valves, and unshroud the flow area as well. IOW, it'll work, but not optimal. The chambers may be too small as well, raising your compression too high. Ask TM, if you want AFR heads, he's the master. I would ask TEA about TFS heads myself.
