Do a search for it. I've done mine and it's not that hard, just time consuming and tedious work getting the new one in and snapped into place correctly.
When you find a few threads on how to do it.....let me add that it will make it a lot easier if you drop a small nylon string or dental floss down and wrap that around the new one, so it make it pretty easy to "pull" the new one into place. Once seated, snip the floss and pull it off and away.
DO NOT do the "Remove the Dashboard" route. Not needed at all. That would be a real PIA!
Thanks but I know how to change the actual hazard SWITCH but I need to know how to POP THE BUTTON OFF??? I've read the write-ups on how to remove the console, radio, etc...and how to actually change the switch and get it all wiggled back up in there.
Do you just pry up from right behind the button by the center vent?
If you have intermittent turn signals do yourself a favor, contact Richard for his bi-pass cable. You'll spend $60 and 20 minutes to install and you'll NEVER have the issue again. If you replace the hazard switch, what makes you think you'll not need to redo this in a few years?

Thanks so much but that's the write-up that I found too...
The only thing that it doesn't go over or at least I couldn't find it after reading through it twice...how do you pop off the actual emercency flasher button? The one that has the red triangles on it that you push with your finger??

Thanks again,

Try popping it off with a little screwdriver. I'm sure it snap on.
Thanks so much!! I figured that it just popped off but I didn't want to bust it off and find out after.
Thanks again!

That's great Donnie. I also have the same problems with the bro's recently purchased 2001 Z06.
I had some wiring issues (trailer connection), bad hazard switch and a bad stalk.
I ended up buying the by-pass flasher mod from Richard at Corvette Enhancements for $60 bucks.
The hazards are still funky because the flasher is bad but the signals are working now except for the left rear. The column stalk is the culprit. Waiting on a new one from Gene over at GMpartshouse.com.
By the way....THANK YOU SO MUCH MAN!!! for the WSS jumper harnesses...those fixed my problem and I had those codes for over a year.
And I figure I'll just replace the hazard switch, my car has almost 120K on it and the switch didn't really start acting up too bad until not too long ago.
It's really not that bad of a swap so if I have to do it in another 50 thousand miles oh well...

Glad they fixed your problems. I don't do too many miles on my vette. I only have around 23K miles on the clock it's a 2001. I'm not home that much and only drive it around on weekends. I've only put about 1,500 miles on it the last few years with all of mods that I have been making.

I just went the by-pass route to solve intermittent turn signals.
