Default Power lock button not working

Drivers side power lock button is acting up. The unlock works fine but I have to hit the lock button a few times for it to work. I'll be taking the door panels off soon to replace my stereo and figure I should address this issue while I have it apart. So what should I look for? A bad contact patch? Should I just replace the switch?

my guess is that it is the circuit board going bad - mine does the same thing, except my LOCk works fine, but the unlock gives me problems sometimes - there is a write up where you can unsolder / solder the relay for the UNLOCK, but I DON'T know if you can do the same for the LOCK problem - seems to me that the lock and unlock relays are different, and that the UNLOCk relay can be replaced, but that the lock one cant???

No need to replace it. Follow the instruction here in this link and you can fix it yourself.

If you can't solder or you don't want to fix it yourself, send me your door control module and I will fix it for you. Send me a PM for details.
