Default what does the BCM module control

started my car up the other day,and while the car was running I unplugged the BCM module in the rear hatch,the car still ran,and no codes,or check engine lights popped up,turned the car off,and started it again with no problem,so can someone tell me what this module control.

Bud,,, The Body Control Module (BCM) is in the passengers foot well under the toe board. It interfaces with ALL the other modules and controls all the body functions. If you unplugged it,,the car would cease to function. The module in the rear hatch is the F-45 Real Time Dampening module.

Another thought to add to Bill's, it is always a very bad decision to unplug any electronic device while its powered up. Doing so, you can fry components that will hit the wallet in a real nasty way.
