Corvette NEEDS HELP
hey guys,
hopefully someone can help me with this one. i drove my vette 2 weeks ago drove fine everything was good.
today i went to fire it up to bring it in for storage for the winter. she fired up. idled for a second then died out. i tried again and it seemed like the battery was kinda low. so i put the charger on it. it fired up again and died out. so now i disconnected the battery charged it for about 1 hour. then hooked the car back up. it fired then died out again. if you try to fire it again it won't it will just crank.. if i wait a minute it will fire. then die.
so i went out and bought a new battery.. put that baby in there. same result.. fired then died out. won't start again... wait a few minuts.. fires and dies out.
my dash is reading reduced engine power.
can someone please help me get my baby back in running order?

I had the same issue in fact when I was putting my car in storage. With everything connected, make sure both doors are unlocked, open both doors, passenger first, go back around and close passenger door, before you close drivers door, lock the doors from INSIDE the car (make sure you have your keys b4 you shut the door) then close the door, unlock the car using the key fob. The car should start and run as normal. Not sure what happened or why, but this is what I did and it worked for me. Good Luck!

attemtped to do that.... no result..
right now the car won't fire.. it will crank like it wants to start .. just won't fire.????
don't know how to get the codes.. but i have to get her running.

got it fixed guys.
fst85vet on the forum helped me out. thanks alot you are the man.
i went through cleared all of my codes. through the computer.. and it fired right up.
only code that i'm reading now is p0103 h in the 10-pcm
my car is not stock.. its a 408 trickflow heads, wiend intake, comp cam, bla bla bla.. you know

yep exactly.. all i did was clear the codes. and it started right up.
also i've been plagued with my batteries draining very fast ever since i've owned the car. if i let it sit for 2 weeks.. battery goes low. the battery was low when i first tried to fire it this time then i hooked the charger up to it. ????? so i guess we will see what happens.
p.s i can't buy no parts now
just got red tagged for a deck, hottub, swimming pool, fence,.. $1,000.00 bucks plus i gotta pay for the permits and stuff for all of that.. hopefully they won't make me take it all down
