I think it may have had a magnacharger on it then they just took it off, the car was repoed so who knows,
I live and work in MN. If the car is close by, I could look at it for you.

Burnin:

I looked around a bit more, hard to find photos of heads, most companies want to show off the underside or for some reason the exhaust port more than the intake ports.

They aren't LS1,2,3,6,7 or L92 heads. Guessing Trickflow or AFR but I can't find good photos of either. So probably as mentioned it had a Fast intake. Given the previous owner took off the intake before it was repoed I would seriously get the fuel tested and remove the heads as mentioned before and depending on what you see there maybe drop the lower oil pan. People like this wouldn't think twice of dropping some *$%#$@ down the intake or in the gas tank etc....

I agree with you 100% I will def take the heads off and check oil pan, if I end up getting it. I have been looking at other pictures trying to figure this out also. I cant figure out the valley cover either, why is it different then yours?

The LS2 has a different valley cover, the knock sensors are on the side of the block I think. Its one of the reasons why people are guessing its a LS2.

One question is are you willing to work on it yourself? It could be a fun project, or it could be a nighmare. But, if your paying someone else, especially if they are not Corvette guys, it may not be a bargin.

I'd listen very closely to what Randy has to say about it. You will be very lucky if he can look at it for you.

Burnin....I just replaced my LS6 in my 2002 EB Z with an LS3 stroker all by myself. If you need help with it my lift is available and we can discuss that further. Many times/Sometimes when you go from a LS6 to a LS2/LS3 you retain your oil pan. I used my LS6 oil pan on my LS3. MC Racing is here in KC as well to help with a tune... Would look great in my garage having two EB Z06s

They seem to have the same design as the heads I just put on my LS1.

You are probably better off, this is a serious buyers market right now and you will be able to pick up a great deal right now. I'm doing everything I can to resist picking up a C6 from the forum. The only thing stopping me is the fact that I would have to sell my C5.
