LS2/3 to replace LS6 Questions
I am in the planning phase to do this and want to make sure I get everything I need.
I will be using worked AFR 205s so my intake will work. I know it's not optimal but I'll address that after the wallet heals a little. The engine comes with front and rear covers and wire harness for cam and knock sensors.
I am a little confused with clutch. I am going to use the LS7 clutch and flywheel but I am not sure on the slave cylinder.
If anybody has any input on the slave cylinder or any other gotchas please post.

did you get a LS2 to Ls1 conversion kit?
" You can also upgrade to include the LS2 conversion kit that will include the LS2 timing cover with camshaft position sensor, LS2 valley cover, LS2 lifter trays, LS2 timing set, and the necessary cam sensor and knock sensor harness extensions! This kit will be necessary to install any LS2 engine in an LS1 vehicle."
Contact your engine builder and let them know you are putting a LS2 into a LS1/6 vette.
