Oil pressure
Ok now before jumping me with the "use the search button" stuff, I already have. I'm sure my Sending unit is bad because like all my searches have said I'm making oil pressure with the motor off. Now my problem is with the motor off I'm making about 40psi where everyone else is pegging 80, with the motor running the gauge spikes but unlike everyone else the DIC doesnt read 130 it reads about 80 something and climbs with the revs. Is this my sending unit or could it possibly be something else?

Certainly sounds like a bad sender. Its not the usual failure but its in the same realm for sure. There is only two possible actions for you, either replace it and see if things go normal or have a mechanical oil pressure test done.
