Goodbye C5 Hello C6. Just couldn't resist the deal the dealership had to offer. Hate to leave the C5 forum after having so many helpful responses regarding questions about my car.

I said goodbye to my C6 and hello to another C5. My new C6 was so problematic GM bought it back from me. I won't own another. They don't like to sit very long without a battery tender on them. Too many computers operating while the car is off.

I live in FL. Mine won't sit too long.

I'm planning on picking up a C6 at the pending "GM firesale event" or the "going out of business every thing must go event". I'm keeping the C5 though.

That's weird...my Dad has an 05 and it only has 1200 miles. That tells you how much he drives the thing. Never had a problem with electronics or a dead battery.

I'm still pissed that he never drives it...

I'll bet his is an automatic. Mine was a 6 speed and the 05 6 speeds were notorious for what was referred to as DBS or Dead Battery Syndrome.
