Just finished with a brake and shock install when I had a weird eletrical problem come up. Out of nowhere a loud buzzing started and wouldn't stop until I removed the battery cable. I reconnected later and when I tried to put up the passenger side window it would not go and the buzzing started again but stopped this time when I turned the key off. I sounds like it's comming from the passenger footwell. Anyone have something like this happen? Is it possibly just a loose connection? What could possibly cause the loud buzzing sound?
I just tried locking the doors from the passenger side and it would cause the buzzing sound. It appears to be coming from the silver box behind the kick panel. Can any one tell me what it does and which connection is for the passenger side door?
The buzzing sounds like a relay oscillating. The relays for the window are in the door, so I'm not sure what's in the kick panel that's buzzing. Probably caused by low voltage from a bad connection or a resistive ground.
The car won't turn over, just gives a popping sound so I pulled the battery and will have it checked (I haven't ran it in about 3 weeks but I plugged in the tender to charge it). You mentioned low voltage, maybe my 6 yr old battery is finally giving out. Thanks for the help.

Failing/failed batteries cause a lot of annoying gremlins...
Turns out it was the battery. Test showed it wouldn't hold a charge. Ended up getting a Diehard Platinum for a replacement. Thanks for the help fellas.
