Default GM Bra

I am planning a road trip next summer and was thinking it would be best to have a nose cover. What can you tell me about the GM Bra for a C5. Are they EZ to install?

Appreciate your feedback.

I have GM Bra and my buddy has a Speed Lingerie. The difference is quite noticable. The GM Bra fit is loose compared to the Speed Lingerie. If you can afford the Speed Lingerie, I would go that route and you can get a color match if you want.
Thats my 2 cents...............Dave

The GM bra is fairly easy to install, but you'll need to replace some of the front fascia screws with screw-in snaps. I got some at West Marine. The hardest part is slipping the elastic straps over the hood-insulator pins. I do recommend a nose mask of some kind. My front end is in excellent condition compared to the hood.

The best way to see a GM Bra in action is to take a look at my avatar on the left. That is the Z06 version on the front of my car as I am going through the bus stop at Watkins Glen. Speed is around 80 mph. Don't know how the speed lingerie bra fastens to the car but the snaps used for the GM Bra are far superior to the good bra that I purchased from a major Corvette Vendor before I bought the GM piece. Have been using this one for 5 years and it fits like new and stays on the car at speeds up to 150 mph. The dent in the center is where the license plate is mounted on the front of my car. Can't beat success.

l have the GM bra on my 99 roadster, and am very happy with the the fit. Uses existing screw holes and is very easy to take off and re-install. l would still suggest frequent removal and cleaning/waxing to prevent paint damage.
