Default Smooth Flow Headers

Does anyone know approx. the gains from the Smooth Flow Headers offered by Melrose Tops? I've put a few of them on some customers cars, I am impressed with the quality. I can get a set at cost for my car, I was leaning towards LG Street Series but if the gains are comparable I may go with the Smooth Flow.

I never got a dyno run with the headers on but, with the headers, vararam and 3.42 gears, I ran a 12.59 1/4 mile on street tires, 2.0 sec 60'. Stock torque converter also. This is a full second off the stock 2.73 geared A4 time. I've been very happy with them. Would like to know the actual hp gains myself but the track is the best dyno.

Sorry, but no dyno numbers just tracks results. Best with the headers and LS6 and Blackwing netted a best of 12.40. I ran as well as other cars with the big name headers. Had the Melrose for 5 years now with out any issues. As you stated the quality and fit are great.

Smooth Flow Headers Is the way to go, I have one on my C5 2000 6 speed 383 AFR heads with magna 2.8 puley & Im extremly happy with it ... the headers cool off so fast as soon as you put the car off 10min max..There is no headers out there in the market that will match to this flow..Your vette will take off like a rocket.. You can buy them from : www.melroseT-Tops.com _ you can call (815)-758-2783 and talk to Dave or chris...

We deal with Melrose regularly, I am the Technician at Turner Auto in Victor NY, not sure if you are affiliated with them or not.

I believe to the general public they are around $1800 for the complete kit, ceramic coated headers with Random Tech cats and x-pipe. Very nice kit, I've put a few on both C5s and C6s.
