Out of the blue my turnsignals are acting crazy. When I turn on the LH turn signal the indicator on the dash flashes real fast. The front bulb is out and the rear lamps alternate. When using the RH signal the dash flashes normally but the rears again alternate. Is the flasher the culprit? Where is it located at? Thanks for any help or advice.

The rears alternate? If a front lamp is out, the same side rear will flash rapidly. The flasher is part of the hazard switch and I think, the BCM. Don't hold me to the BCM part but I think it is the source of normal blinker operation except when the hazards are activated. Truly, I'm not sure there.
if it turns out to be the hazard switch its behind the button on the dash, here's a link to a good thread on here w/ step by step procedure for changing. It will require some console dismantle and radio removal....costs about $250 for the dealer to do.

The part where he says, "give it a good whack" ... it is plastic, be careful. Instead of doing that, I removed the panel under the steering column and was able to get one arm up to the top of the hazard switch with a flathead srewdriver bit, which let me pry that tab loose. No "good whacks" which will probably get it out while breaking one of the clips in the process (I've broken enough of these to know how that goes). There was easily enough room to do this too, no cuts on my arm. Its only one extra panel to remove, totally worth it. Save yourself $200 of labor.
The "whack" that he was referring to wasn't to get that little tab undone I don't think...
It was to get the actual "rectangle" shaped green hazard switch itself out of it's little "socket". It can be kind of stuck in there and sometimes does just need a little help...
OK, I replaced the burnt out front LH turn signal bulb as well as the RH front side marker. Turn signals function correctly, no alternating rear lamps. Now the turn signal lamps are going in hyper drive at all four corners. I have had LED rears for about two years and they never flashed fast. Could this cause problems? I have read post about a harness that can be installed that returns normal flashing. How is this installed and is one required for each rear lamp?
Standard flashers work based upon the load and designed with a regular incandescent lamp being there, in the case of these cars. When you modify things such as putting in LED's, LED's have essentially no load at all. Now that can be compensated for with a load resistor on the circuit to ground to simulate the normal lamp but I've never done that myself. I would venture a guess that your LED setup has had a failure or connection to ground go bad which results in the hyperflash. I know nothing about the special setups and harnesses to make these changes.. maybe someone else has had this issue?
