Good Question!! Superchips should have a fix for the '99-'00 soon, but no timeline. There are '99-'00 Dealer Tuners. So shops like BPP, ARE & others that use Superchips may have that unit. But no MicroTuner yet.

re: the 2001 MicroTuner for sale. I believe they are tuned to a single VIN and otherwise worthless to other cars.

Yep, it is, mine is a 2000! :cool:
and we did run the first round on the dyno today:)
BPP's Dyno showed 490 RWHP and 477.4 Torque.

That's cool. Did Ernie use a 2000 MicroTuner or his Dealer tuner to install your program?? I bet he used the dealer tuner...

I actually talked to 2 techs at Superchips today re: the 2000 MicroTuner. Both said it wasn't available yet. I have a 2000 also.

If ATI has developed or is advance selling the fix that Superchips plans to release soon, please let us know!! There is a problem flashing a '99-'00 PCM with the Superchips MicroTuner.

You are right,
We had to send the Mine Computer to Superchips together with the SuperChips Programmer.
We did not use the SuperChips programmer (so far I know anyway) because it seams like the setup that was programmed in my computer worked perfect.

I will try to play with it later, when I know I will work.

Not sure what you mean 100% and I'm drinking too, LOL.

Did you send your C5 PCM back to Superchips? I've done that 3 times myself. Careful with the MicroTuner. If you try to load a program the 2000 version can wipe out your PCM.

yes...we did send the PCM back to SuperChips, it was their setup we used for the first dyno round, so we never loaded their programmer.

I'm still very confused. :confused: I bought and installed my Micro Tuner 2000 over a year ago and have used it with no problems. What Micro Tuner 2000 is not available?

I'm having Nate from Xtreme Motorsports install a stage II head and cam package next month and plan on using Superchips again. They have treated me right in every aspect of customer service and product quality. I hope my next experience doesn't sour the way some of you explain your encounters.

This just blows my mind how I had such a different experience with this company.

Your car is a 2000? You loaded your prog from a MicroTuner?? Interesting. I think Superchips let a few out from time to time then had HUGE problems and stopped sending them out. I'd do any more flashing 'til you talk to them. But I guess you are ok as long as you don't change! Worst case scenario if you wipe your PCM you send it back to SC.
