Last week I began to hear a vibrating sound coming from my right side of my 2004 Coupe. At first, I thought I had picked up a nail in the right rear tire and I had it checked but there was nothing there. I have already checked all possible wheel-well panels for any slippage and they seem to be intact. It sounds like a bicycle with a sport's card attached to the wheel. I even thought to look for a plastic bag stuck somewhere underneath... nada/nothing. I have considered the side front panel/vent just behind the right front tire but it seems intact. One last location I have not checked is the vent found inside the cargo area. Anyone ever have this noise occur at speeds of +40 mph? If so, give me some ideas what to look for. Thanks.

I have checked for flapping BSM, and loose panels in the fender wheel wells. I checked the front air dam as well, and it seems intact. A friend (female for that matter) also suggested wheel bearing because she had the same problem in her Toyota Tercel (go figure)... I will take this into consideration and have it looked over along with a wheel balancing.
Can anyone describe what a humming fuel pump sounds like? The noise I am referring to does not increase while at idle nor with increased RPMs. It mostly is heard at about the 35 to 40 mph plus speeds and it seems to be getting louder over time and not so much louder with the increase of speed, as the tone remains the same. But it does seem to have increased in intensity over time (now x2 weeks).
Please keep the suggestions coming in so I can have a general idea what to look for when I take it in for service this weekend. It is my daily driver. Mileage is only 35700 miles now.
Thanks for your input and ideas. I greatly appreciate it. Thanks again.
wheel bearings are pricey. hope thats not the prob. have someone get on a skateboard and hold onto the pass. mirror going 40, maybe theyll hear where its coming from.

This is a long shot but,,,,,,,could there be something in the HVAC fan???? Seen that MANY times. Try turning the HVAC fan OFF and see if that makes a difference.
