Default Weight reduction and ETs

I just dropped 35lbs in one month, from my fat ***. I am still looking to drop another 10 or 15lbs. Aprox how much faster should my car be with the new not fat (I cant say slim, cause I'd be lying) me :D Just curious cause I want more incentive to lose more weight

if that is true that would be sweet. I can lose 50lbs which = 10hp = .1 off my 1/4 time. Who needs mods :D

LOL, Mike! But you're on the right track.........
Aside from making the silly HUD display standard,
Chevy did a good job keeping weight off the C-5. Short of running 1/2 tank gas, and replacing the run-flats with some REAL tires,
shedding blubber is about all that we can do without stripping out some of the goodies.....

Be carefull though! If you shead too much blubber you will end up adding 110LB's to your car!

Cute young girls are heavy!

For every 100 lbs you drop you can expect .1 in the quarter.
Not sure what that translates to in HP

For every 100lbs. that you can take out of your car you will pick up 1mph and knock a tenth off your 1/4mi. time.

100 pounds for 1 tenth, 1 MPH, or 10 HP. That's for weight off the body of the car. ROTATING weight loss (brakes, wheels, tires) worth MUCH more, removing 20-25 pounds of tires/wheels will net you the same as 100 pounds off the body. RECIPROCATING parts (valves, keepers, etc.) worth even more, 1 pound off valvetrain worth same as 100 pounds off body. Of course, it's kinda hard to shave that much off, but that's the reason for hollow valve stems, titanium keepers and the like. :chevy

easy, just starve yourself and run 3 miles a day. Works fine for me :D What I did was just to cut all the bs calories out of my day like soda, and sweets, and eat very little carbs, and very little fats, and none at night and work out ofcourse. Sorry for the late response

Well , congrats again. I hope to start a work out regimen soon just can't seem to find the motivation. I would have to lose 500 lbs to get the ET benefit I got from my last mods
