Serpentine belt question

Just been to my local Chevy dealer and they quoted me $82.76 just to buy the one belt and $83.00 for the other one! That's $165 for both belts with me fitting them myself!
Are they kidding?
Local O'Reilly have the Gates 6-rib Micro-V Serpentine belts for $31.99.
I guess you know where I will be buying from and it won't be Chevy.

Anyone know if I can run the car without the ac belt. I never use the ac at all and I do mean at all, that's why I got a vert. Just want to know if it's safe to cut it out and run the car
