Sqeeking under hood
I have a 2001 with Auto. I was having the dreaded pulley bearing squeal. I changed all 4 bearings last night. 2 idler and 2 tension.
I replaced the main belt with a gator back. They did not have the gator for the AC so I replaced it with a premium belt that had the sideways hash marks as well as the serpentine groves. This morning I fired it up and started to work and it is quiet as a mouse when idling or below 1500 RPM. But when you accelarate above 1500 is makes a slight sqeaking noise untill you let off of the fun pedal.
Any ideas??
