Default Freakin JUNK headers

I can't believe that they can sell junk like this.

Here's where you have to cut the bottom of the pan so that one of the 02 sensors will fit, also the sensor from the drives side header is all into the passenger side collector.

And here is how far off the X-pipe is from lining up to the collectors.

Not to mention there are no bolts included to bolt the catback to the X-pipe...and the stock bolts aren't even close to the right size.

I wasn't sure if I could name the brand, didn't know the forum rules. If it's ok to say it I will.

I think I'd have sent them back. Big hassle, I know, but those are just wrong. Best of luck.

They are Texas Speed.

I'm sure the 02 bungs are welded in the same place on all of them.

I have read that they supposedly corrected this problem. Guess NOT!!! That really sucks, but I guess that's why they are so cheap!!\

These were for a customers car and he had to have it back today so I didn't have the option of waiting and sending them back.

My TPIS headers on my personal car were cheap too, but everything on them lined up and bolted up perfectly.

Not sure where you read that....based on my conversations with TS, they have no intention of changing how the o2"s are oriented. The claim they designed it that way(cutting a hole in the tunnel plate) to protect the o2 wiring.

So the customer was ok with that?

Apparently, the TSP headers have been changed now...

Did you not know this before you purchased the headers? It's been discussed numerous times on the forum.

I would install additional bungs to mount the O2 sensors properly. Second, I would route the sensor wires up and over the top of the tunnel plate to prevent them from melting because it's going to get real hot down there. Not sure about the X-pipe fitment...what a PITA
