Default Z06 Bumper Grille Installation Question

Since my "aftermarket" grilles have fallen off for the last time (r.i.p.) on the interstate, I have ordered the factory Z06 grilles and even though I searched this site, I do not see how to install them. I ran across a thread using velcro in order to be able to clean the fogs, but since I have an frc, that isn't a concern, so I would like to install them using whatever hardware they did at the factory, but honestly, I don't see how to get into that area on the car to screw anything down! Any help would be appreciated. Also, should I remove the covers where the fogs would have been or open that area up for airflow? Thank You.

velcro and x2 tape is the 1/2 azz way of doing it

do it like GM does, 2 screws w/ nutplates on the bottom and 2 retainers up top

Aftermarket screens are garbage

I would only use the GM issue items

I agree, and I want to install it the way GM did, but for the life of me I can't see how I can get in there with the black plastic shroud that is where the foglights would be if I had them. I am wondering if Z06's didn't have this plastic "cup" inside the bumper hole where the grilles go??
