A4 shifter replacement
I posted last week in the general section , but wanted some last piece of advice , did a Fed track and I receive my new shifter on Tuesday , I was told to be careful removing it, because there isn't much play with the shifter , anybody have some past experiences that they can share or some pic's ???? it would be greatly appreciated 
the shifter is an original A4 , I damaged the last one replacing the boot.....

there were 2 parts that were pretty tricky but the pic's helped. I would like to thank Patches for taking the time to send me that section of the manual. It tought me that I need to get myself a copy of the shop manuals , to make my life easier. I am proud to be a memeber of this forum and see how everyone helps out with what ever experiences they have had, working on there car , to make it easier for the next person . Hopefully as I continue to do different projects on the car, I can pass some helpful information to someone.
