Default Rear Differential Help ASAP..
Just got my 2000 torn down today after breaking another HD 300mm output shaft, third one now I believe. Anyway, When I dissassembled the clutch pack on the broken side (long shaft drivers side) I discovered that the clutch pack preload spring was cracked, Is this a common problem, will the dealer have a new one in stock do you think or should i go aftermarket? Thanks in advance for any help.

Call RPM Transmissions. I believe they use HD Springs in their built diffs.

check out the plates themselves, they seem to always crack

I doubt dealer has item
